John is the founder and CEO of Outreach Management Services. He is an experienced charity and fundraising consultant, third-sector development expert, trainer, author, trustee, speaker, and author. John has worked in the private and voluntary sectors and served on national and international boards for many years.
He has developed and implemented strategies, cultural integration, fundraising, advocacy, policy, and community development.
With 25 years of experience in fundraising and the wider third-sector environment, John’s passion is helping small, underprivileged, and undervalued charities deliver to their communities. His expertise includes research, fundraising, community development, project evaluation, youth, governance, and poverty alleviation. He has a diverse outlook and understands the needs of third-sector organisations.
He is the author of the fundraising book “Breaking the Golden Pod” and has authored many research and scholarly papers on various issues related to community development.
